1. Information we collect
Account data: name, email, username, phone (if provided), profile details, and authentication records.
Verification data: government ID, driver/motorcycle license images, selfies, emergency contact, and documents owners submit for bike listings.
Transaction data: booking history, payment metadata (processed by payment partners — we do not store full card numbers), messages, reviews, and support requests.
Technical data: device type, IP address, browser or app version, cookies, and usage analytics needed to secure and improve the service.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to create and manage accounts, verify identity, facilitate bookings and payments, display approximate pickup areas, unlock exact addresses after confirmed payment, provide messaging, prevent fraud, enforce policies, and comply with legal obligations.
We may send service-related emails or notifications (booking updates, verification status, security alerts). Marketing messages, if any, will include opt-out options where required.
3. How we share information
With other users when necessary to complete a transaction (e.g. owner/renter names, booking details, pickup information after confirmation).
With service providers under contract (hosting, authentication, payments, email, analytics) who process data on our instructions.
When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Location & pickup privacy
Public listings show approximate service areas — not exact pickup addresses. Precise location coordinates and street addresses are shared only with authorized parties after booking rules are satisfied.
5. Data retention & security
We retain information as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. Verification documents may be retained for compliance and fraud prevention periods.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Your choices & rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to submit a request; we may verify identity before responding.
You can update profile details in your account settings. You may request account deletion subject to legal and operational retention needs.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit functionality.
8. Children
BikeLife 66 is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International users
If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where we or our providers operate, under protections described in this policy.
